HALLOWEEN'S OF THE PAST
When I got my Halloween decorations out this year, I found these pictures of my son's when they were little. I always made their costumes. One year I bought black jogging suits for both boys and my husband who is a Medical Illustrator drew all the bones onto white reflective tape, I then cut all the bones out and put them on the jogging suits. The scarecrow is my youngest son, this was a fun outfit to make, he even had a black bird on his hat. He was so cute. They are now 26 and 20, I miss those days of making Halloween costumes, thought I would share these pictures with you. The last pictures is of our home and of course our dog Dott, she is a rat terrier and is by my side all the time. We went to go get the mail and the leaves this year are so yellow, usually they have more red in them, not this year. Happy Halloween.

Every year I make Halloween art and I tell myself I will make myself something later, but never do. This year I decided to make a dark Marie frame for myself. I love this image of her. I purchased this digital collage sheet from: Keeper of the Nest Etsy Shop. The beautiful roses and leaves are from Cassandra's Etsy shop: Cassies Creations. I had bought this frame over the summer at an antique store and thought she would look great in it. She is sitting on my fireplace mantle and I am really enjoying her. Happy Halloween.
HALLOWEEN IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER
The other day I went to the cemetery just down the road from where I live. There are several very old maple trees that always are so beautiful this time of year, so I took my camera with me. It is such a pretty and peaceful cemetary along the Black River. The colors are so bright and beautiful. It is raining here today and when I look outside it is a sea of yellow and orange. I love this time of year. I lived in Florida for a few years and really missed the fall change. The first tree is in my neighbors yard.

LACE CAKE CHUNKY BOOK PAGE
I really enjoyed this wonderful swap, hosted by Rebecca, with the Marie Antoinette Mail Art Group. These pages are 6 x 6, which I really enjoyed because they are a little larger than the 4 x 4 book pages. This was the first time I made this size. It was fun because you can put more things on them. The pages are thick mat board, which I covered with beautiful paper that I printed out, then I added tulle over the top and then paint. I made my cakes by covering mat board with beautiful ribbon and then vintage lace and trims. The back of the pages are really dimensional also. I have used two prints to make the ladies dresses very dimensional. I then added lots of beautiful trims, which is my favorite part. I made 10 pages, this is only five of them. I hope the girls like them.
