In the Marie Antoinette Mail Art Group, I started a group for 2013, we are to create our own page of the month and also a cover and back.  Each month we do our own page and share photo's of it.  Here is my book so far.  I have been doing some ancestry work on my fathers side and just found out that my Great Grandfather was 100 percent Irish, which I was thrilled to find out, so my March page is green with shamrocks. Happy Valentines Day, I can't believe it is February already, where has this year gone.  I want to share with you some of the Valentines Day swaps that we had at the Marie Antoinette Mail Art Group. This first swap was hosted by Lorraine, we were in groups and we made each person a Valentine.  This was such a fun swap, it was so great to receive all these beautiful cards in the mail.  Thank you Lorraine for hosting this wonderful swap.

I hosted a Valentine Steampunk Marie ATC swap, the first picture is the cards that I made and the second picture is the beautiful ATC's that I received, they are from Kris, Terri D., Wendy R., Wendy R., Laurie and Wendy A.  I loved everyone's cards, thank you so much Ladies.

I hosted a Valentine Marie tag swap, we swapped tags and then made our own cover and back.  I love everyone's beautiful tags and what a treasure I have.  Thank you so much ladies, I love it.

The charms I created

What I did with my charms

 I hosted a Valentine Heart Charm Swap, we each make 25 charms and I swap them. I created a bracelet and a necklace and still have enough charms to make another bracelet, thank you so much Kris, Melanie, Bobbi Ann and Heather.  I love all the beautiful charms you created.


Kris hosted a wonderful swap, you created a bead wrapped spoon for your partner and you sent a beautiful tea cup and little gifts of chocolate.  Here is the tea cup that I sent my partner Melanie and the vintage spoon that I wrapped for her, the spoon is over a 100 years old and I had these sweet vintage flower beads.  I also made her a charlotte heart angel.  Thank you Kris for hosting this wonderful swap, it was so much fun!

It Has Been Too Long

I received this beautiful teapot and sugar and creamer from Melanie for my Birthday, I love it.  I love roses and the colors are so beautiful, thank you so much Melanie, you are such a dear friend.

I received this beautiful bag from Marti and Lorraine, they made it together, it was such a surprise, it is so beautiful and Lorraine filled the bag with beautiful treats, a silver compact picture frame, note pad and perfume and also a sweet little mercury glass heart.  Thank you so much Marti and Lorraine, you both were so sweet and it was such a wonderful Christmas surprise.

I received this beautiful teacup times 2 from Jody, she is such a dear friend, she lives in WA near my son and I am hoping to some day meet her, she is just the sweetest friend.  I always love receiving anything from her, it is always a treat.  Thank you so much Jody.

I received this beautiful bag from Melanie for Christmas, I just love it.  She also sent me candy, beautiful present earrings and a wonderful charlotte doll, I hung her on my tree, but I am keeping her out all year.  Thank you so much Melanie, you are so sweet.

It has been too long since my last post, I had been very busy getting ready for Christmas, I was so excited, both son's were coming home not for Christmas, but a couple of days later, which was so wonderful, we were just delaying our Christmas.  I was busy baking and making candy and planning out meals.  Well the day before Christmas I went grocery shopping where I caught the flu, I am always so careful and use the wipes when I enter the store and exit the store, but the day after Christmas I got so sick.  It seems like a blur to me now, we had a full house and I felt so bad, it is not what I was hoping for Christmas. The good news is I went through 2 bottles of antibacterial soap and no one else got it.  It has taken me a few weeks to feel good again and last weekend we got the Christmas things put away.  I received some beautiful gifts and I feel bad that it has taken me so long to show them.  Thank you so much ladies, you really made my holidays  so wonderful and are such wonderful friends.  Thank you for visiting me today.  I hope you have a wonderful weekend.  Hugs, Terri
