Needle Book Swap

Valentine Swaps

Hello, thank you for visiting me today, boy time is flying by so fast, it has been such a long winter here, but things are finally melting.  I want to share some Valentine Swaps that I did with the Marie Antoinette Mail Art Group, this first one was a swap hosted by Lorraine, we swapped Valentines, first the one I made and then the ones I received.

The other swap was a cloth tag swap hosted by Bobbi Ann, we had an odd amount of players so I created a tag for Michele and received a tag from Lorraine.  I really love cloth tags.  Thank you so much Lorraine.

A Sweet Announcement and Beautiful Friends

Hello, I want to thank you for visiting me today, I just received the sweetest birth announcement for our new Grandson!  He was born within 24 hours of my father's passing.  It is our first Grandchild.  We visited him in Seattle for 10 days on January 25th, I forgot how small newborns are!  He is just the sweetest.  In the announcement he is wearing a hat that my husband wore home from the hospital 59 years ago and our son wore it home from the hospital 30 years ago, I made a shadow box when our son was born and kept the hat and sweater in perfect condition.  I also love the blackboard on the announcement.

I also want to share with you some beautiful gifts that some Dear Friends sent to me, Ladies you are just so wonderful and I will treasure your beautiful gifts.  I am listing these beautiful gifts in the order that I received them, Thank you so much.

The first one is from Rhonda , she sent me some beautiful supplies and a couple of wonderful charlotte dolls, Thank You so much Rhonda, you are such a dear friend and I can't wait to use the beautiful things you sent to me.

Then I received this beautiful heart from Lorraine and Marti, It is just beautiful and I love that it says hope, seeing it every day has helped me so much.  Thank you Lorraine and Marti!  You are both such Dear Friends and I will treasure your beautiful heart!

My Friend Dawn, who lives in England sent me the sweetest bunny, she made it for my Grandson, I have sent it to them and forgot to take photo's, but my daughter in law sent me a photo of him, it is just the sweetest and Nicole loved it!  She put his name on a heart.  I know she will treasure it and that Stephen will love it.  Thank you so much Dawn, she is also going to be a first time Grandma soon!

Kimberly sent me this beautiful ornament, well it is staying out all year!  I love it so much, I love vintage and I love all the beautiful things she used to create this baby stocking!  Thank you so much Kimberly, I love it and will treasure your beautiful work.

Wonderful Friends!

In November our Marie Antoinette Mail Art Group had a wonderful swap hosted by the lovely Marti.  It was the 12 Days of Christmas Swap, I was very excited and joined, how wonderful to open little gifts for 12 days straight, and you were to hand make the gifts, which was even better.  Well my father was not doing well and I had to pull out of the swap, which I was so disappointed.  The first week of December a box arrived from Marti and Lorraine.  They had worked together and created the 12 days of Christmas for me!  I was so shocked and surprised!  It was a such a bright spot for me, knowing what was coming with my Dad.  I want to thank these Lovely Ladies for being so kind and thinking of me, you both will never know how much it means to me, they are both such special Ladies and are so kind. It is so wonderful to call them my friends.  I started opening number one on December 25th, what a joy it was to open one of their beautifully packaged gifts each day.  Thank you so much Marti and Lorraine .
