I HAVE A DRESS FORM

I have been wanting a dress form forever, and I have looked and looked. I really wanted a vintage one, but was afraid to buy online, (would it smell?). But I found a wonderful seller of new dress forms. My husband bought me one for Valentines and I got it today. It came packed really well. The price is great $68.00 and only $15.00 shipping. It is a company in NJ and if you are lucky enough to live in NJ you can pick it up. They have lots of different styles and color stands, some of their dress forms are as low as $49.00. I bought it on Saturday and received it today. Very fast shipping and its a buy it now. I just thought some of you might be interested. I was so excited to find the shape I wanted. I picked the french style with the wasp waist. It comes with a stretch cover and a topper and stand and you can take the cover off if you want to decoupage your form and I found a great blog showing you how to do it.

Here is the seller on Ebay dressformmall.

Here is the blog showing you how to decoupage your form: http://whitelinenlavenderfield.blogspot.com/2010/02/dress-form-tuto...

I just thought I would share this with you, I know there are probably some others who would love one.

  1. Terri,
I have so wanted a dress form too!
But, I want an old shabby, beat up one.
Somehow I hate the thought of beating up a perfectly beautiful new one.
But, it would not be the first time I have done something so crazy. =)
Will check out tha decoupage site too.

Thanks for signing up to follow my blog.

    See you again soon.

  12. Hi Terri,
Your dress form is fabulous!! What a great Valentines present. I had wanted one forever and found one on E bay a few years ago. Mine is from 1948 and needless to say when I received it it was smelly!! I think the person who owned it smoked. I had to take it outside and febreeze it to death. Finally after a few days the smell went away and now it resides happily in my home. I call her my lady and I actually buy vintage jewelry and vintage prom dresses for her. My husband thinks I'm nuts! Oh well.
Thank you so much Terri for adding my giveaway button to your blog. You are always so supportive and I so appreciate it!! You will be entered 3 times.
Good luck and talk to you soon.
    Sincerely,
    Melinda
