TEACUP TUESDAY
Today I want to share another teacup that I have. I love the lace work on this teacup, also the blue. I usually pick teacups that are pink, but I loved the details of this one. I believe I bought this at an antique/thrift store in downtown Port Huron several years ago. I wish I could say that I was a big tea drinker, but I am not, coffee is my drink of choice, but I love teacups anyway. This teacup is a Royal Albert Crown and the name of it is Valentine, made in England. Click on the button next to this post to go to Terri's blog and see all the other blogs that have joined Teacup Tuesday this week. Thank you Terri and Martha, this is so much fun seeing all the beautiful teacups that others have. Thank you for visiting my blog today and have a wonderful day.
Hi Terri,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the wonderful idea on what to do with my gift tags. I love the idea of making little books out of them. They are all so beautiful.

This is a lovely tea cup! I just love the gold lace details on it. The color of blue just pops from the cup and the lovely rose design on it is quite pretty~
ReplyDeleteI have to admit I am drinking coffee as I am reading and posting, but like you I do love the tea cups! ~Theresa
Terri, thank you for signing on as a follower of my blog today. I'd love to look further on yours after I post. It looks wonderful at just only the beginning!
ReplyDeleteWhat is the Marie Antionette group you belong to? I'm curious!!!
Thank you and hugs,

Oh Terri,
ReplyDeleteyour tea cups are stunning beyond words.
the first one is more my cup of tea - joke intended LOL - as i love that precious rose decor (i'm in love with everything having to do with roses...)
I do too prefer coffee to tea (I'm italian after all!) but collecting teasets is one among my very many passions! Love mismatched and one-of-a-kind cups. Our tiny apartment is filled to the brim with cups of all sorts, especially antique English bone china and blue or red transferware, but still, whenever i spot an orphaned teacup at some fleamarket or thrift store I simply got to have it.

Hi Terri,
ReplyDeleteI love your gorgeous teacup! I love drinking tea from vintage cups, it always makes me feel very English!
I used to collect vintage tea cups and tea pots but have dwindled down my collection to just a few very special ones.
