Today is Teacup Tuesday, and I got a very late start, working on tax things, I am so glad that tax day is just about over. This is my crazy teacup, but I really like how different it is. I have had this for years and usually I buy cups that are made in England, Germany, Bavaria, France. I have no idea where this cup was made, but I do believe it is really old. The gold along the brim is almost worn away. The colors in this cup are just beautiful with it's pink saucer. The back is rather plain, but the front is kinda crazy. The gold object sticks way out and I think that's what drew me to it. I also love the shape of the cup and the gold trim on it. It is very thin and it just has the number 46 on the bottom. Terri, I hope you discover its origin. I was thinking Japan. It reminds me of the gold on a Japanese creamer that I have. It's very unusual.
