Hello, thank you for visiting me today, on Tea Cup Tuesday. The tea cup that I am sharing with you today is a cup that I just purchased last week while antique shopping. I have since found out that the shape of the tea cup is a corset tea cup, which I really love and I love the beautiful roses on it. It is a Paragon tea cup, made in England. I want to thank Terri and Martha for hosting Tea Cup Tuesday and please click on the tea cup button on my side bar to see everyone's beautiful tea cups. I am wishing you a wonderful week. Hugs, Terri
What a beautiful find Terri! Your new pedestal cup in the corset shape is truly lovely. I love the roses on it, so romantic! Thank you so much for sharing it with us today. Hugs to you, Terri
Oh Terri that is one of the most beautiful teacup I've ever seen!...just gorgeous! you have such a keen eye for picking up these beauties!! isn't antiquing the best fun ever?! Hugs..
I love the delicate way it sits up high on the 'pedestal' and the flowers with the sprinkling of little lavender petals is so sweet and unique. Really a gorgeous find. You all make me wonder how I can accommodate a tea cup collection in my little place. Especially with the cups I have received from both you and Terri H. Hmmmmmmm must figure this out.
This is so beautiful, Terri. It makes me want tea cups. We are three blocks from the most wonderful thrift shop and the last time I was in there, they had incredible consomme's. That was six weeks ago. I am wondering if they are still there but Jud is sleeping by my side and I can't leave :-(
Thank you for your very kind note.It touched my heart!!!
Gorgeous Terri. Did you see the Royal Warrant on the bottom? The Paragon teacup bears the warrant for Queen Mary, the wife of King George V and Queen Elizabeth, wife of King George VI so it dates to 1937-1952. That's what I love about Paragon's Royal Warrants...a bit of history to hold in your hand, admire and sip a good cup of tea from! What more could we want! Thanks for sharing the lovely teacup and for Teacup Tuesday! Ruth
I saw this teacup in ebay but the photos were not that clear but now when I see yours, my oh my, my heart beat skips! love the flowers.. so bright and pretty! beautiful is the key word!
That is a real beauty Terri, love the name shape! Have a wonderful day! Marilou xoxo
