Happy Valentine's Day!

Hello, I would like to wish you a very Happy Valentine's Day! I would also like to share with you a heart that I bought last summer while visiting our son and daughter in law, in Washington. I have always loved hearts and collect them. I look for different kind of hearts, but I love them all. I found this really different heart in Snohomish, WA. It is a picture frame wall hanging, it is beautiful green velvet with a beautiful red bows. What is so interesting is the sweet little girl's picture in the heart, she has beautiful long ringlets and attached to the heart is one of her curls. While my family thinks it is creepy, I love her. I hosted a Secret Valentine Fabric Heart Swap with the Marie Antoinette Mail Art Group, we had 13 ladies join and then I emailed them the person that they were to send their finished hearts to and we did not post photo's until the person received her surprise heart. It was such a fun swap. Here is the beautiful heart that I received from Kathy . It is so beautiful, I really love it, it is a beautiful creamy color, just perfect. The second photo is the heart that I made for Dawn , she lives in England, I have always wanted to go to England and now I can say my heart is there! Our First Real Snow Fall This Season

Yesterday the weatherman said we were to get one inch of snow, we have had several snow falls of one inch and it melts within a day or two. Well yesterday we got our first real snow fall of the season, we got 4-5 inches of snow. It was a beautiful snow, light and fluffy. It is supposed to warm up tomorrow and Wednesday into the 40's so it will probably all melt. I love the look of snow, but I have not missed it this year. We have had a very mild winter with just a few days of super cold days, but I know we have February coming! I took these pictures yesterday and you can see the bird in the tree.
