It Has Been Too Long

I received this beautiful teapot and sugar and creamer from Melanie for my Birthday, I love it.  I love roses and the colors are so beautiful, thank you so much Melanie, you are such a dear friend.

I received this beautiful bag from Marti and Lorraine, they made it together, it was such a surprise, it is so beautiful and Lorraine filled the bag with beautiful treats, a silver compact picture frame, note pad and perfume and also a sweet little mercury glass heart.  Thank you so much Marti and Lorraine, you both were so sweet and it was such a wonderful Christmas surprise.

I received this beautiful teacup times 2 from Jody, she is such a dear friend, she lives in WA near my son and I am hoping to some day meet her, she is just the sweetest friend.  I always love receiving anything from her, it is always a treat.  Thank you so much Jody.

I received this beautiful bag from Melanie for Christmas, I just love it.  She also sent me candy, beautiful present earrings and a wonderful charlotte doll, I hung her on my tree, but I am keeping her out all year.  Thank you so much Melanie, you are so sweet.

It has been too long since my last post, I had been very busy getting ready for Christmas, I was so excited, both son's were coming home not for Christmas, but a couple of days later, which was so wonderful, we were just delaying our Christmas.  I was busy baking and making candy and planning out meals.  Well the day before Christmas I went grocery shopping where I caught the flu, I am always so careful and use the wipes when I enter the store and exit the store, but the day after Christmas I got so sick.  It seems like a blur to me now, we had a full house and I felt so bad, it is not what I was hoping for Christmas. The good news is I went through 2 bottles of antibacterial soap and no one else got it.  It has taken me a few weeks to feel good again and last weekend we got the Christmas things put away.  I received some beautiful gifts and I feel bad that it has taken me so long to show them.  Thank you so much ladies, you really made my holidays  so wonderful and are such wonderful friends.  Thank you for visiting me today.  I hope you have a wonderful weekend.  Hugs, Terri

My Birthday was last week and I have to share with you some Beautiful gifts that I received from Beautiful Friends.  The first photo's are a beautiful wall hanging that my friend Debi Huntsman made for me, it is so gorgeous, I love it so much, the details are amazing.  She also sent me an antique powder box and she made this beautiful rose for me.  I was so thrilled.  Thank you so much Debi, you really made my day so special.

The second gift I received is from Wendy Robinson, she makes such beautiful cards and I love the birthday card that she made for me and then she made me this sweet Charlotte doll wall hanging, it is so beautiful.  I love Charlotte dolls and she used my favorite colors.  Thank you so much Wendy.  I had such a great birthday.  Thanks for visiting me today and I hope you are having a wonderful week.  Hugs, Terri

Today is Marie Antoinette's Birthday and at the Marie Antoinette Mail Art Group we have been having a month long event to celebrate Marie's Birthday!  It is being hosted by one of our great leaders of the group, Debi Huntsman, she has done such a wonderful job hosting this month long event, we have had wonderful swaps, games and tomorrow we will have a live chat.  We always have such fun at our chats and I am really looking forward to it. Beautiful Fall Images

 

Last weekend we went up North Michigan to our Cabin to close it for the winter.  We met our son Matthew and his fiance Chrissy there, we had a wonderful weekend, the weather was beautiful and the trees were in their glorious fall color. We had a mild winter so the amount of deer at our cabin was the most we have ever seen.  Matthew took these photo's and I asked if I could share them with you.  He has become a wonderful photographer and loves to photograph wildlife.  He is self taught and has a wonderful eye for getting just the right shot.  He is also a writer.
