TEA CUP TUESDAY

Well, I started late today, busy getting some things done. I started collecting tea cups when I was 16 years old and my Mom collected regular tea cups, so I started collecting demitasse "half cup" tea cups, I loved the small size. The one I am going to share with you today is one of my favorite ones, it is a french demitasse tea cup. The markings on the bottom are CFH GDM FRANCE, which is made by the Charles Field Haviland Limoges Company. I don't know the age of it, but I love the green color and all the gold details on it. I have had this cup and saucer for years, I remember that I purchased it at an Antique Store. The green paint on it looks almost like it was airbrushed. Thank you for visiting my blog today. Have a wonderful Tuesday.

Great tea cups! But the cuffs on your previous post are beautiful. Remind's me of the work from the Victorian to 1920's trim work with glass beads and metalic threading. Thanks for shareing.....Julian
