I want to wish everyone a very Happy Easter and hope you are spending the day with loved ones. I wanted to share one of my favorite Easter decorations. About 15 years ago, I spotted this vintage Easter Bunny Basket on Ebay, it was a mess, it is made of paper mache, wicker and wood. It is very heavy. The eyes were missing and the ears were cracked and almost broken off, but I loved it and thought I can fix this basket. I love to try and save things, so I paid $6.00 for it and when it came I loved how unique it was and spent days working on repairing it, I used paper clay and filled in all the cracks and replaced parts that were missing and put eyes on him and then re-touched up the paint to match. I wish I would have taken pictures of it when I bought it. My husband thought I was nuts. It took a long time, but I loved fixing it. Every Easter I get it out and enjoy it so much. I luv that old basket! Ive never seen one like that before it must be from the 1920's or 30's. What a great find. I like collecting real old vintage holliday before the 1950's. Thanks for shareing...Julian
