TEA CUP TUESDAY

Today is Tea Cup Tuesday, started by Martha and Terri, you can click on the button on my side bar to learn more. Today I am sharing with you two of my demitasse "half cup" tea cups, both of these cups have violets on them and I thought I would share these because my violets are blooming in my yard right now. I bought these cups when I was about 16 years old. None of my friends liked antiques, but I always did, and on Sunday's I would go by myself to a local flea market and this is where I found them. Also in the picture is another item I collect, they are violet possies, I don't know how old they are but I love them, they are made of glass beads. One cup is made in Japan and the other just has numbers on them. Thank you for visiting my blog today and if you would love to see more beautiful tea cups please click on the button on the side bar. Thank you Martha and Terri. I hope everyone has a lovely day.

Hi Terri...Loved the cups. I have the exact one like the second. The demitasse is sweet. By the way, HOW did you click on Martha's tag and have more cups come out? I put the tag on my blog but when I click it, nothing happens. I thought it was just for decoration. Could you let me know at writingwstraightfromtheheart@gmail.com Thanks. Sincerely, Susan

Terri,
These two are just stunning! Pretty colors and composition!! I have to start to look for some with violets or in the color purple! I always went along the pink lines because of my Dining Room.
Great post!

These are the most lovely little cups! I must say I am a tad bit jealous of any garden with violets! All my best, Theresa

Those are so beautiful! I love the violets on them. Imagine that, you were only 16 and you already knew what you loved! That is inspiring!
Thank you for sharing.
Hugs,
Terri

I knew at an early age that collecting was to be a great passion of mine....while all of my other friends were into 'fashion' shopping at the mall, i was out at auctions, yard sales...thrifting away to my hearts content!

your cups are terrific! love the violet shades!

come by my blog..I'm participating in tea cup tuesday this week as well!

Terri, I used to have that very same violet cup and saucer. In our many moves...it must have been sold or else I gave it away. It's so sweet!
