A COUPLE OF SWAPS FINISHED

I just completed a couple of swaps items that I have been working on. The first one is the Quarterly Ribbon Flower Swap with the Marie Antoinette Mail Art Group. I am hosting this swap. You make five ribbon flowers and swap them for five other flowers. I try to make different flowers each quarter. I really enjoyed making these. They also have vintage velvet leaves attached to them.

The second swap completed is an Ephemera swap that I am hosting with the Marie Antoinette Mail Art Group. We are all making our own books, I blogged about my book on an earlier post. The idea of the swap is that we have two partners and we swap ephemera. Fabric, prints, ribbons, lace, flowers, buttons, things that we can use to create our books, we picked colors that we would like. My two partners are Debi and Robin. The first pictures are for Debi (Pink) and the last two are for Robin (blue). I used a vintage hanky that I stiffened to make an envelope to put all their goodies in and wrapped it up Marie Style. I really enjoyed gathering items for this swap. I hope they like what I have gathered. Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my blog and I want to wish everyone a very Happy Memorial Weekend. Hugs, Terri

Terri, These are all just gorgeous! I promis to Jump in and do some "Marie" Swaps soon!

All these shows seem to hit at once in Washington,,,when ahem, we're supposed to have better weather. Well someone needs to tell Mother Nature!!! The shows are "ON" but the weather is not cooperating!

Enjoy your weekend!

Oh Terri...how gorgeous everything looks!

I am trying to catch up on Blog visits as this month has been filled with college graduations, medical school graduations, my son's wedding and now I am recovering from pneumonia in both lungs so I am a bit behind! I have missed you!
