SOME THINGS THAT I HAVE BEEN WORKING ON

Here are some things I have been working on for the Marie Antoinette Mail Art Group. The first is a special tag that I made for a secret friend with our new mascot for the group on it PRINCE PIERRE PAON our Peacock. The next item is a Marie tassel for a swap that I am hosting. The next picture is for the Gothic Arch Swap with our mascot on it, which I am also hosting. The last item is for an ATC swap that I am hosting Summer in Paris. Thank you for visiting my blog and have a wonderful weekend. Hugs, Terri

Terri,
I just love your work. So many things about it appeal to me.The one I am noticing now is your use of dye.I am fascinated by the effects of dye...i think it makes a textile so interesting. I have been dying damask and lace tablecloths all sorts of crazy colors to do for my women's retreat for about five years now and can just switch what I have. I am always so excited to see what happens. I just signed up for a Joggles class on dying silk habatoi (?) ribbon and making flowers. I am psyched!!!
Thanks for giving us such treats for our eyes and thanks for the lovely comment about our trip to Mayo!
Hugs,
Suz

Wow, Terri.I love them both but I lust after the first one. Again it is the dupioni silk (?) and the hand-dyed lace. I LOVE both of those. How did you learn to do the dyeing?

Suz

P.S. I made a comment on your last post today. Thank you so much for your kind comment about my brother's visit to Mayo. I so appreciate it.
