I decided to join Stephanie for her Wedding Blog Party. I have always loved anything to do with weddings. About 10 years ago I started collecting wedding cake toppers, it made me feel so bad that families would not cherish these vintage cake toppers. I also made the shelves that my cake toppers are on. I made a large shadow box to put things from my wedding in. I love to make shadow boxes for special couples. I made one for my husband and I, it has our wedding invitation and a large G for Gordon. I also made one for my son who was married last July. My husband and I just celebrated our 32nd Wedding Anniversary, and we renewed our vows, you can read about it here: Thank you so much for visiting my blog, please click on the button to go to all the other blogs that are joining Stephanie for this wonderful party. I really enjoyed this. Thank you Stephanie.

I wanted to tell you my sstory with vintage wedding cake toppers: when my little one was three, he and I ducked into an antique store. I was pushing him in a stroller and stopped to look at a display, when I suddenly hear a loud crash. I turned and my little guy had knocked over a display table full of vintage wedding cake toppers. Most of them were fine, but he ended up breaking a few of them. $80 dollars later I was walking out of the store with a bag full of broken wedding cake toppers. I have over the last couple of years been able to use bits and pieces of the toppers he's broken - and still have some of the pieces left! Needless to say, it was quite a while before I went back to that antique store. I was so embarrassed!!!

Terri, I'm in heaven, absolute HEAVEN here today! You have got an incredible collection of vintage cake toppers, my dear friend! I've enlarged each picture and am drooling over them all. Don't you just love it when you find one that is all creamy beige with age?!? I think I love your little cloched child couple the very best! Sweet minister and couple, too! Love the shadow box displays you created. I think you have our actual wedding cake topper, too ~ the bottom one in your very first picture in the corner shelf display! I also love how you displayed on the tiered shelf ~ I need to use that idea!! :0)

Thanks so very much for joining in the WEDDING BLOG PARTY today! I'm sure I'll be back again and again to view your amazing collections!

Big Hugs,
