MY MARIE DOLL IS FINISHED

We had a wonderful swap in the Marie Antoinette Mail Art Group, hosted by the lovely Terri Heinz, it was called Marie Doll Gift Box Swap, I posted about the beautiful box of supplies that I received from Terri about a month ago. Then we were to to make our own Marie doll. Well I have to say Terri sent me some of the most beautiful things, Duponi Silk, which I have never used before, it is the most beautiful material, I just love it, she sent me trims, hair, leather for her shoes, it was a beautiful box full of wonderful things to make my doll. Thank you so much Terri for hosting this wonderful swap and for the beautiful box and materials you sent me, it was a joy working with the supplies you sent. Her face is an original Dawn Shotton face, I did a private swap with Dawn, I sent her trims and she painted my dolls face, she is such a wonderful artist and is so talented. She has a wonderful Etsy shop with beautiful dolls and ornaments, you have to take a look, her work is just wonderful.

Thank you so much for visiting me today and I hope you have a wonderful weekend. Hugs, Terri

Oh I am so tickled about your doll! She is just absolutely French! I love everything about her. You are such an amazing creator.
I am so glad you loved the supplies I sent. I was very careful to find really good silk. I love it too. Especially blue colors. I have been working on mine most of the day, but still have the face to paint, and the dress to finish. Wish me luck!
